Gilroy Opticians care forall age groups.

Children under 16 and those students under 19 and in full time education are entitled to free eye exams and help towards the cost of spectacles.

Senior citizens over the age of 60 and those with certain health conditions such as diabetes and glaucoma are also entitled to free eye exams.

If you are claiming benefits you may also be entitled to help towards eye care costs. We can give guidance on this.

  Always prompt and courteous staff , so efficient in all aspects and quick to put one at ease. Very good after service and willing to help for any minor repairs should they be needed. Fast replacement of spectacles when they need to be changed also. Excellent people!

  Everybody at Gilroys could not have been more helpful, broke my glasses on Monday evening was told by specsavers that it would be 10 days until I got a replacement pair as they're varifocal lenses, went to Gilroys on Tuesday morning and they had a new pair made and ready for Thursday morning.
Thank you to all the staff at Gilroy opticians
